CALAMITY

BESIDES THE RUIN OF A CIVILIZATION, THERE IS ALWAYS THE LOSS OF THE BELOVED THAT IS THE HARDEST TO GET OVER IN THE CALAMITIES WE CREATE OUT OF BLOODTHIRST, PREJUDICE AND ENMITY.

I’d willingly imagiNe,

GOd tore up Poland for all our sins,

Carved into my head with your last grin,

SWirling dizzy devilishly,

But whAt a gRayish mythology.

So Was the evEntide slowly

Shattered into a million scarlet beads,

The last of Uranus’s graces,

We were ever lIke’ to see,

Before MartiuS took over tHe scene.

Ein Radiergummi von the torn pages of god’s diary,

But my memory?

My inFinity,

My misery,

My fOur-time infidelity……

Still would you believe?

I’ve missed you eveR since,

SeraPh turnEd fAke indeed,

Not stopping you is just another of my CalamitiEs.

How soon will this sorrow cease,

Evermore locked in the long gallery of forgotten things?

If you were still to be,

Would there be you, questioning my validity?

Ships that sail far into unventured seas,

Guns at last light that ‘ll never leAve you in peace.

Would Fate retuNe her violin, a new autumn melody

AnD my memory?

My mortality,

My fantasy,

My crazy incredulity……

You sHould never have joined in,

Then I’d not be pUlled apart at the seams……

Beneath the ivy leaves,

I’d almost had you proMise never to leave.

Look up to the pouring rain,

And for all the tyrAnts you’ll see,

You’ve No idea what wars are going on,

Down there where the spIrit meets the bones.

Only time would see,

The end of this with clariTy

Ahead of me,

Like a tragic comedy.

EverYthing and nothing laid before thee,

Finally,

Other side of Styx was the horn of dawn blowing.
