Chapter 1 – Strider the light, Elrond the darkness

There he stands, on the top of the misty mountain, looking over the vast, endless sea. After 6 months of exhausting journey, his face grew a lot paler, and thinner. His eyes are the exact same shape as hawks’ and his nose, once long and sharp, is somehow bent and crooked, probably because of the fight 10 years ago.

Nobody knows his real name, and hardly anybody still remembers him. Those who knew him, were murdered, by his old enemy——Elrond, and those who barely lived, had fled away and are now hiding and running for their lives, just like him.

He had a name though, Strider, but it’s been 10 years since he had heard it from anyone else. He hasn’t forgotten his name, neither his mission——to find Elrond, and beat him, for he knows from the bottom of his heart, that he is the only one that can save the Illumina world.

The Illumina world was once peaceful, together regulated by Illuminants and Delluminants. While Illuminants manipulate the light of the day, Delluminants manipulate the darkness of the night. There had been quarrels though, about the boundary between light and darkness, but never had there been any wars.

Until he came, Lord Elrond.

He and his army of Delluminants broke into the light city on a sunny afternoon, while everything seemed so peaceful. They slaughtered the innocent Illuminants cruelly. Golden, warm blood of the Illuminants was spilt all over the ground. Endless lives were taken away by death, and darkness was pouring in, gradually swallowing all the light. Everything was just happening so quickly and in one night, the light city fell.

The war broke out.

The rest of the warriors in the light city fought bravely, but the Delluminants were so powerful that not a single person could stand a chance……

No Illuminants in the light city survived that night, except for Strider, who fought his way out and ran all the way to The Phoneix palace, the second, and last but one city in the Illumina world.
